Some info and photos have been released on the new Chevy Aveo hatchback for Europe. The previous generation of this car was sold as the Kalos in Europe. The biggest changes from the current Kalos are a redesigned exterior and interior.

The most striking feature of the exterior is the front end, which has a grill that resembles an Audi. The Aveo also is the latest car to receive the non-functional side vents, which is quickly becoming the most over-used design cue in the industry. GM reports the interior has also been redesigned, but only exterior pictures have been released so far.

The Euro Aveo will make its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month. There has been no announcement yet, but it is likely that the US Aveo5, which is desperately in need of a styling update, will eventually be replaced by a model similar to the Euro Aveo.

We've been seeing pictures of the next generation Opel Vectra for some time now, but finally we get to see it in action! A video has surfaced on YouTube of a camouflaged Vectra doing some laps on the 'ring in Germany.

The Vectra will be the first vehicle from GM's new Epsilon II platform. This is the same platform that will host the next generation Saturn Aura and Chevy Malibu. The Vectra is scheduled to be officially unveiled next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
